Unit 5: Rhythmic Dictation

Learning Objectives

In this unit, our rhythmic dictation work will focus on two things:

  1. a continuation of our work with simple meters (up to the level of the eighth note)
  2. an introduction to compound duple meter (6/8), up to the level of the eighth note
