Unit 3: Chords

Learning Objectives

In this unit, our chord identification work will focus on distinguishing between major, minor, and diminished triads, as well as identifying which chord member (root, 3rd, or 5th) is in the soprano.

Instructions

Each chord set contains ten chord identification exercises. For each one, identify the quality of the triads that are played, then indicate which chord member (root, 3rd, or 5th) is in the soprano. Each chord will be played two times.
