Mazungumzo 1: Juma and Baraka greet Yakubu and Yohana while entering class.
Yakubu na Yohana: Hamjambo Juma na Baraka?
Juma na Baraka: Hatujambo. Na nyinyi je?
Yakubu na Yohana: Sisi pia hatujambo.
Mazungumzo 2: Mwalimu enters the class and greets Juma and Baraka
Mwalimu: Hamjambo Juma na Baraka?
Juma na Baraka: Hatujambo Mwalimu, na wewe je?
Mwalimu: Mimi pia, sijambo. Karibuni darasani.
Juma na Baraka: Asante, Mwalimu.
Zoezi la 1: Maria and Amina greet Juma and Baraka.
Zoezi la 2: Scenario
You and one of your friends are at the gym, and you see two other classmates who are in your Swahili class; approach them and greet them using the jambo greeting.
Zoezi la 3: Kuzungumza (Maamkio)
You wake up in the morning and find your dad and mom sitting in the living room. With two other classmates, record yourself roleplaying this scenario.
Zoezi la 4: Video
Create a video recording of yourself and a group of friends greeting each other using the following scenario. You are walking to the library, and see Juma walking towards you from the opposite direction. You walk towards him and greet him as you and Juma are talking, Baraka and Malaika are approaching in the background, walking together and chatting. You and Juma greet them, bid them goodbye, and promise to see each other later.
