Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

·      Interpretive Communication:

  • Understand the main ideas in short, simple oral or written texts related to daily routines (e.g., listening to a short monologue about someone’s day, reading a simple schedule).
  •   Identify key vocabulary for times of day, daily activities, and days of the week.

·      Interpersonal Communication:

  •   Ask and answer simple questions about daily routines and schedules
  •   Engage in simple roleplays about weekend plans.

·      Presentational Communication:

  • Describe their daily routine in a short, simple presentation (oral or written), using appropriate time expressions.
  • Create a simple weekly schedule for themselves or a fictional character.

·      Cultural Understanding (Cultures):

  •  Identify common daily activities and meal schedules in East African cultures.
  • Compare and contrast their daily routines with those of a typical person in Tanzania or Kenya.
