Unit 2: Chords

Learning Objectives

In this unit, our chord identification work will focus on identifying triads (major, minor, and diminished) and seventh chords (major-minor 7th, minor 7th, fully-diminished 7th, and half-diminished 7th).

Instructions

Each chord set contains ten chord identification exercises. For each one, identify the quality of the triads and seventh chords that are played, then indicate which inversion the chord is in (root position, 1st inversion, or 2nd inversion). Each chord will be played two times.
