Unit 3: Partially Completed Harmonic Dictation

Learning Objectives

In this unit, partially completed harmonic dictation examples will include advanced uses of chromaticism, such as mode mixture, Neapolitan chords, augmented sixth chords, and modulation to distantly related keys.

 

Instructions

For each partially completed harmonic dictation, some of the notes have been provided for you. Fill in any remaining notes in the outer voices (soprano and bass) and provide a Roman numeral analysis.
