56 Memorable Melodies (Minor)
As in Unit 2, we will work with a core group of minor melodies to develop harmonization and transposition skills in minor keys.
How to Use These Melodies
- Learn them as written in the original key with the indicated fingering
- Harmonize with tonic (i) and dominant (V)—some will also use subdominant (iv). You may begin with chord roots or chord shells before harmonizing with full triads in closest position.
- Transpose them to other minor keys. Keep track of your progress using the checkboxes below each melody.
