The Raven

The OM’s tale of the Raven (and Crow) is an important precedent for Geoffrey Chaucer’s Manciple’s Tale in the Canterbury Tales. In this session, we’ll consider how Chaucer adapts and interprets the tale of Coronis, and think about its moralizations in the OM.
