Chapter 1 is a review of the essential functions from Pre-Calculus that students need to be successful in Calculus 1.  This chapter has the five sections listed below.

Section 1.1:  Polynomials and Power Functions

Section 1.2:  Piecewise -Defined Functions

Section 1.3:  Rational Functions

Section 1.4:  Trigonometric Functions

Section 1.5:  Exponential and Logarithmic Functions
